Why are most Continental Sausage products considered "All Natural"?
Continental Sausage purchases raw beef and pork from qualtiy suppliers who do not use antibiotics or growth hormones to raise their animals. Our suppliers also process and raise their animals under humane growth and slaughter conditions, further protecting our customers from foodborne outbreaks and antibiotic resistant bacteria. Continental Sausage products are truly "ALL NATURAL"!!!
When will you charge my credit card?
How will my order be packaged?
Your credit card will be charged on the day we process and ship your order. Due to the fact that your estimated shipping charges may be less than what is quoted, we charge your credit card after order fulfillment.
Orders are packaged in boxes containing insulated liners. Most products are shipped frozen to guarantee safe arrival. Dry ice and gel packs are used to maintain cool product temperatures. It is not uncommon for the dry ice to be fully evaporated when the order arrives.
How are shipping options determined?
Our products should not be in transit for longer than 3 days. Therefore, if UPS and FedEX requires more than 3 days to ship from our factory in Denver to your address, we are forced to ship by UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, or FedEx Express. We compare shipping options between FedEX and UPS on every order to determine the most economical and most efficient service for that particular order. If you have a preference between FedEx and UPS, please indicate this in the "Gift Message or Special Instructions" section during checkout.
How are the shipping charges calculated?
Shipping charges include the UPS charge, the cost of the insulated cooler box, and the required dry ice and/or gel packs. Your order may require less coolant than is quoted, and will subsequently result in lower shipping charges. This will apply to Colorado customers more than out of state customers.
What if I want to send this order as a gift?
Please indicate that you prefer to send this order as a gift during checkout. Provide your gift message in the "Additional Information/Gift Message" box. We will bill your credit card and send only the gift card and packing list to the recipient. The packing slip contains no price information. You will receive a copy of the invoice in the mail.
Can you ship to my P.O. Box?
Continental Sausage can only ship by UPS to physical addresses and can not ship to P.O. Boxes.
Once I receive the product, how long will it last?
Continental Sausage recommends that you consume or freeze the product within a few days. Please keep in mind that Continental Sausage uses the absolute minimum amount of preservatives in all of our products.
